SME Use of Renewable Energy Technology

For a sustainable global economy and society, it is urgent to reduce CO2 emissions to help tackle climate change. Thames and Central Energy Efficiency Advice Centre (TCEEAC) has been awarded European Union funding to advise Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in London with free advice on energy saving measures and the use of renewable technology and waste minimisation techniques.

Under the initiative, SMEs are offered:

  • An initial audit of the energy efficiency of the business operations covering activities such as manufacturing, heating, electricity, and insulation.
  • Information about energy efficient appliances, products and materials.
  • The opportunity to find out more on the potential of renewable energy technologies such as Solar, Wind, Biomass and Micro- CHP's.
  • Information on grants and discounted schemes for energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies.
  • Training on energy management to assist businesses to continually monitor their energy use.
  • Advice on environmental waste management and signposting when required.

TCEEAC is available from 09.00-17.00 to provide free impartial advice on any of the above.

For further information on how to benefit from this project and to check your eligibility, please contact the TCEEAC.
